Precision Sport just finished the second install in two days of the all-new Gen II E60 M5 exhaust from Active Autowerke!

A lot of people see the “Gen II” and ask. . .what is different about this versus the Gen I unit? A couple noticeable differences include fitment, adjustability, and muffler size. The Gen I piece took some real patience to get to fit correctly, and was a lot more difficult to make it look 100% perfect from the rear of the car. The reason being, it did not have any adjustability in the hangers, which this new piece HAS! That totally changes everything and now this exhaust system can easily be made to fit perfect. Also, the cans are a lot less bulky from Gen I, so it’s a sleeker design in my opinion.

How does it sound? In my opinion at least, and the few others who were around to hear it. . .AWESOME!! I absolutely LOVE AA’s stuff for the E60, mainly their exhaust, it just screams like an F1 car when you’re on it, but disappears when you’re cruising on the highway; NO DRONE. Even our famous G-Power car with RD-Sport catless headers and AA exhaust DOES NOT DRONE on the highway, and that’s about as close to straight piped as you’re going to get.

This customer from Pensacola, Florida has a one-of-a-kind 330 and he wanted to turn up the power and add an AA HKS Kit to the car.

Along with the S/C Kit, other upgrades include, custom M3 style exhaust, coilover suspension, matte black Brembo BBK, custom Alcantara interior and VEI Gauges.

Body and exterior upgrades include authentic AC Schnitzer Front Splitter, Vorsteiner GTS3 diffuser and M3 front and rear fenders.

THe HKS upgrade is a rare kit for a 330 making this enthusiasts dream a reality.

A PSI customer with E46 M3, along with a newly installed Active Autowerke Gen VI stage 1.5 supercharger kit came to Precision Sport Industries today for a few service items.  While the car was in the air, we installed an Autosolutions short shifter kit, along with a clutch delay valve delete/clutch bleed.  After these couple of relatively small upgrades to this BMW M3, the car felt great, and was ready to hit the streets of Orlando again!

What would a trip to PSI in Winter Park be without a picture or two in front of our famous wall?  Check out that level 1.5 upgraded intercooler!

About 4 weeks after completion of the kit, the M5 comes home for a check up and addition of Brembo Brakes and HREs.

During the stop in, we took a few shots of the long awaited G-Power SK-II 2008 E60 M5.

While not a “customer” of PSI, a close friend to the owners decided his first stop after his makeover was to show it off at Precision Sport Industries a few nights ago.

An OG member of CFBMW.ORG (formerly CFBMW.COM), Ken (aka Dolomite), has gone through many modifications with his 330ci. Starting off as the only gold e46 in the group and then slowly evolving into the beast it is today. With fresh paint and body work out of Redline Motorsports, we were able to take in the sight of the custom work before “dolomite” was shipped to the city of angels. Careful thought was taken with the lines in the bodywork from the RD Sport Tornado front fenders that flowed onto the custom sideskirts and rear fenders.

Quite a unique BMW!  Don’t go looking around Central Florida for this ride, it is already on a west bound trip.
