Titanium Construction

The titanium in all of their exhaust systems is produced exclusively for Akrapovic. It is three times stronger and is more heat resistant than any other titanium product on the market and 40% lighter than stainless steel.

Available for E9x M3, 335i, and also available for E6x M6.

M3 Evolution Exhaust

The Akrapovic aftermarket Evolution exhaust system for BMW M3 consists of flow optimized link pipes with 2 x 100 cpsi sports catalysts and integrated resonators as well as a completely newly developed and now split-end mufflers. This exhaust system, made fully from titanium, reduces the overall weight when compared to the stock system by almost 53 lbs.

335 Evolution Exhaust

Akrapovic engineers developed a complete aftermarket exhaust system which pushes this powerful Bavarian ahead of the pack. This system, which is made entirely of titanium or stainless steel, gives the BMW 335i more power and weighs less that offers an even better on-road performance. The BMW 335i stock exhaust system weighs more than twice as much as the titanium Evolution, which speaks of the great achievement of Akrapovic.

M6 Evolution Exhaust

Akrapovic Engineers developed a complete aftermarket exhaust system for the M6. The connection tubes of the Evolution System, i.e. the complete ex manifold system, are newly designed in order to optimize the exhaust flow by offering a bigger tube diameter, interference crossover tubes to improve the vibration characteristics of the exhaust, and the discard of the second set of catalysts. The end mufflers are now split. This technique reduces the weight considerably.

Good afternoon everyone!

Precision Sport just finished the second install in two days of the all-new Gen II E60 M5 exhaust from Active Autowerke!

A lot of people see the “Gen II” and ask. . .what is different about this versus the Gen I unit? A couple noticeable differences include fitment, adjustability, and muffler size. The Gen I piece took some real patience to get to fit correctly, and was a lot more difficult to make it look 100% perfect from the rear of the car. The reason being, it did not have any adjustability in the hangers, which this new piece HAS! That totally changes everything and now this exhaust system can easily be made to fit perfect. Also, the cans are a lot less bulky from Gen I, so it’s a sleeker design in my opinion.

How does it sound? In my opinion at least, and the few others who were around to hear it. . .AWESOME!! I absolutely LOVE AA’s stuff for the E60, mainly their exhaust, it just screams like an F1 car when you’re on it, but disappears when you’re cruising on the highway; NO DRONE. Even our famous G-Power car with RD-Sport catless headers and AA exhaust DOES NOT DRONE on the highway, and that’s about as close to straight piped as you’re going to get.

PSI’s 1st Meet of 2010

It all started with a couple of posts on e90post.com (aka bimmerpost.com) in the Florida Chat thread. There were talks of having a meet, but no one taking the lead. What a better time for PSI to jump in and hold a meet at the peak of the hottest day of the year! It was a snowball affect from the suggestion of meeting at PSI and it evolved from just a meet to inviting one of the best BMW tuners, Active Autowerke to join us in the festivities.

The preparations began, by flooding all the major BMW focused forums with details of the meet. Big thanks to 1clean335i (aka Chino) for really promoting the event! Swag was ordered, food was purchased and volunteers were recruited. By the day of the meet we had over 90 confirmed Facebook RSVP’s with 60 or so maybes. This was looking to be a huge meet! We were excited!

The day arrives and we start having our first arrivals at 11am, the meet was to begin at 1pm!! These two arrived from Tampa.

Setup continues and cars begin flowing in steadily around 12:3o and we easily had around 100 BMWs throughout the day! We had an idea of how many we wanted to show up and everyone far exceeded our expectations. It is unbelievable the enthusiasm in Florida for the ultimate driving machine.

Thanks again for everyone supporting the event and driving from Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville and everywhere in between!

PSI Customer with AA supercharger on 330ci drops in for intercoler upgrade!

: Supercharged 330ci with new intercooler by PSI

A well known PSI car, 2005 E46 330ci, equipped with an Active Autowerke supercharger kit, stopped for an intercooler upgrade from the one that came with the kit. Instead of the plastic end tanks, this new design incorporates full aluminum end tanks for a more finished look, and better overall performance.

Here’s a quick shot at Precision Sport Industries. . .more pics coming after the bumper is re-installed, as it’s still at the paint shop getting the finishing touches put on.

PSI builds rare 330ci Supercharged Rocket with HKS Blower

This customer from Pensacola, Florida has a one-of-a-kind 330 and he wanted to turn up the power and add an AA HKS Kit to the car.

Along with the S/C Kit, other upgrades include, custom M3 style exhaust, coilover suspension, matte black Brembo BBK, custom Alcantara interior and VEI Gauges.

Body and exterior upgrades include authentic AC Schnitzer Front Splitter, Vorsteiner GTS3 diffuser and M3 front and rear fenders.

THe HKS upgrade is a rare kit for a 330 making this enthusiasts dream a reality.
