It all started with a couple of posts on e90post.com (aka bimmerpost.com) in the Florida Chat thread.  There were talks of having a meet, but no one taking the lead.  What a better time for PSI to jump in and hold a meet at the peak of the hottest day of the year!  It was a snowball affect from the suggestion of meeting at PSI and it evolved from just a meet to inviting one of the best BMW tuners, Active Autowerke to join us in the festivities.

The preparations began, by flooding all the major BMW focused forums with details of the meet. Big thanks to 1clean335i (aka Chino) for really promoting the event! Swag was ordered, food was purchased and volunteers were recruited.  By the day of the meet we had over 90 confirmed Facebook RSVP’s with 60 or so maybes.  This was looking to be a huge meet!  We were excited!

The day arrives and we start having our first arrivals at 11am, the meet was to begin at 1pm!!  These two arrived from Tampa.

Setup continues and cars begin flowing in steadily around 12:3o and we easily had around 100 BMWs throughout the day!  We had an idea of how many we wanted to show up and everyone far exceeded our expectations.  It is unbelievable the enthusiasm in Florida for the ultimate driving machine.

Thanks again for everyone supporting the event and driving from Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville and everywhere in between!

While not a “customer” of PSI, a close friend to the owners decided his first stop after his makeover was to show it off at Precision Sport Industries a few nights ago.

An OG member of CFBMW.ORG (formerly CFBMW.COM), Ken (aka Dolomite), has gone through many modifications with his 330ci. Starting off as the only gold e46 in the group and then slowly evolving into the beast it is today. With fresh paint and body work out of Redline Motorsports, we were able to take in the sight of the custom work before “dolomite” was shipped to the city of angels. Careful thought was taken with the lines in the bodywork from the RD Sport Tornado front fenders that flowed onto the custom sideskirts and rear fenders.

Quite a unique BMW!  Don’t go looking around Central Florida for this ride, it is already on a west bound trip.

2007 M6 - We recently installed a set of KW Variant 3s on this car.  It was already looking great with it’s 20″ HRE wheels, but it was time to drop it to really set those wheels off.

After some tear down, it was time to fit the new KWs.

After fine tuning the ride height to the customer’s specification, we thought it would be best for him to come back

in after a 500 mile break-in to further adjust it, then send it off to be aligned.

Here is a 2008 BMW M3 done at Precison Sport Industries in Winter Park, Florida.  It’s a sedan, Silverstone II on Fox Red interior, with a bunch of performance upgrades as well as cosmetic modifications.
